We grow Vining Peas for Birds Eye.

These are usually planted in February or March and are harvested in June or July.

The harvesting operation is absolutely crucial and the logistics are vital.

The peas are harvested in the field and must be frozen within two and a half hours in order to ensure that all the goodness and flavour are retained.
