Wheat

Crops

One of our most important crops that we grow is wheat.

The wheat is planted in the autumn months and is not harvested until the summer.

Most of the wheat that we grow is for human consumption and is sold to millers to make bread, biscuits or cereals.

We do also grow varieties of wheat which are used for feed for animals or can be processed for making bioethanol.
